We lay tiled terraces and pathways as part of a wider scheme — matching thresholds so inside and outside floors read as one level, and setting falls so water leaves the surface properly.
A path can also do design work. In one of our own projects a meandering path takes you on a journey from the house through the garden, framing views of tree ferns and a metal arch; in another, two parallel paths of horizontal granite paving lead to a secluded seating area in dappled shade.
