Most London gardens have a level change somewhere — a raised terrace, a sunken side return, a garden that falls away from the house. We design and build steps in stone, brick and timber to handle that change comfortably and safely.
Because we carry out our own excavation and structural work, retaining structures behind and beneath the steps are built by the same team, to the same specification.
Steps can also be a design feature in their own right: shallow flights with generous treads, horizontal granite paving with jagged edges, or a change of material to signal a new part of the garden.
